DND welcomes DFA FSO Cadets

     Secretary of National Defense Delfin N. Lorenzana, together with Undersecretary for Defense Policy Ricardo David Jr. and Assistant Secretary for Plans and Programs Angelito De Leon, briefed Foreign Service Officer Cadets from the Department of Foreign Affairs on the mandate, structure, and functions of the DND during their visit to Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on March 6, 2019.


     The Department of National Defense (DND) received Foreign Service Officer candidates, who are currently undertaking under the Foreign Service Officers’ Cadetship Course of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) during their visit to Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on March 6, 2019. The Foreign Service Officers’ Cadetship Course includes a module on National Security, which aims to orient the participants on how the DFA plays its role in the preservation and enhancement of national security. The module is also designed to provide updates on Philippine security priorities, as well as reiterate the value of policies and strategies in approaching national security concerns.     ###
